Entitled "Breaking the Delta with Caterpillar tractor," this color shot emphasizes the changes in agriculture that came with gasoline-powered engines and more adaptable machines and implements. Prose praising the industry from the pages of that magazine includes the following: " man with red blood in his veins would be happy in a land where there was nothing to do but eat and sleep...California farming is carried on under excellent conditions with a minimum of difficulties, under ordinary circumstances and a maximum of production."
