Looking east along K Street, the original Federal Building located on 7th and K Streets housed the Bureau of Animal Industry, Geological Survey Office, Immigration Office, Land Office, Post Office, Revenue Office and Weather Bureau! The "new" Federal Building on I Street became a reality in 1932 and is in its second century of service.
