Summary  The Sacramento steamboat CAPITOL CITY is featured in the "Annual Booster Edition" published by the Rio Vista River News. Hidden inside an impressive promotional book published by the River News in 1923 is this equally impressive ad for the California Transportation Company and their palatial steamer CAPITAL CITY. Captain John Stephenson, pictured proudly and prominently, had been with the company almost twenty years when this ad appeared and had about that much time in with Southern Pacific before that.
