This joint effort by the Board of Supervisors and Exposition Commissioners of Sacramento County from 1915 is a wonderful example of the promotional brochures issued by most California counties to draw visitors and new neighbors to the Golden State. When this photograph was published in 1915 Sacramento's new courthouse was only two years old and automobiles competed with horse-drawn vehicles for parking space. This building, the third courthouse on the same site, was demolished in 1970.
