Summary  This joint effort by the Board of Supervisors and Exposition Commissioners of Sacramento County from 1915 is a wonderful example of the promotional brochures issued by most California counties to draw visitors and new neighbors to the Golden State. Frozen forever behind the wheel, the unknown occupant of this automobile is curbed in front of a home adjacent to an orchard, possibly in the Sacramento suburbs of Orangevale or Fair Oaks, two early colonies on the American River.
