Joseph Routier first planted the Flaming Tokay grape in Florin in 1857 and the region has been providing quality wine and grapes since then. Angelo and James Frasinetti started their Florin winery almost one hundred years ago and this vintage picture captures a man and boy on their delivery route sometime ca. 1903, the first year that James Frasinetti appears in the Sacramento City Directory as a winemaker in the Florin area.
