[Paintersville Bridge - Sacramento River]
1 photoprint ; 8 x 10 in.
Long after the town named for Levi Painter became just another deserted landing this bridge was built near the site to accomodate the steady flow of fruit and produce from both sides of the Sacramento River. Located near Courtland, California; this is an example of a double-leaf bascule moveable bridge.
