Summary
With its' twin passenger decks full of spectators the steamer CAPITAL CITY heads down the Sacramento River under a full moon in the early part of the 20th century. Part of the California Transportation Company's fleet of vessels, this ship provided service to and from it's namesake beginning in 1910. This card is postmarked 1922, ten years before the company merged into the River Line and eventual decline.
