Summary
View looking southeast. Car Paint Shop is to left running parallel to the transfer table. The Rolling Mill is at rear center situated east to west. The American Railway Union called for a national boycott of Pullman sleeping cars June 27, 1894. Strikers took control of stations and railway yards in many California cities and greatly distrupted service. Federal troops were called up in early July to restore the flow of goods and mail. The strike ended July 20.
