According to this fragile advertising page, part of a program for the Clunie Theatre, Pure Milk Distributor's Liberty Milk was not afraid to show its bacteria count averages for 1921 because it was Grade "A" pasteurized milk. Liberty milk and ice cream were popular products in the 1920s and early 1930s but had disappeared by the time the 1935 Sacramento City Directory had gone to print.
